Fulton Homes Honors Pat Tillman Scholars
with Veterans Day Honor Roll Program

First honoree is John (Jack) Schannep, MBA student at Arizona State University

In celebration of Veterans Day, Fulton Homes is proud to announce the launch of its annual Veterans Day Honor Roll Program, in partnership with the Pat Tillman Foundation and 98KUPD. From now through November 11, Fulton Homes will honor a different Tillman Scholar each week, sharing their stories and recognizing their contributions to both the military and their communities. Fulton Homes will make a donation to the Pat Tillman Foundation in honor of each scholar.

Established to honor the life and legacy of former NFL player and U.S. Army Ranger Pat Tillman, the foundation provides educational scholarships to service members, veterans, and military spouses. These scholarships empower the recipients to reach their fullest potential, continuing Tillman's mission of service and leadership.

This week, Fulton Homes proudly salutes John (Jack) Schannep, a 2024 Tillman Scholar and Army veteran, who is pursuing his MBA at Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business. Jack's military journey, rooted in Tucson, Arizona, began at West Point, where he earned a degree in economics. After witnessing the devastating impact of suicide within his battalion, Jack identified financial stress as a leading risk factor among service members. He now dedicates his career to combating financial insecurity, which he believes is a key contributor to mental health struggles in the veteran community.

"As an officer, I used every resource to protect my soldiers from danger. As a financial planner, I will protect veterans from a leading cause of suicide: financial insecurity," said Schannep. Through his work, Jack continues to embody Pat Tillman's commitment to service, ensuring that the military community is empowered with the tools they need to thrive.
